Events Schedule

January 8 **             Pie with the President  - (Wed)  Meet at 7:00 p.m. at Bakers Square Restaurant  2239 Ford Parkway  St. Paul, MN  (Right across from the Ford Plant and the Ford Bridge).  Eat pie, or supper, or both!   Always an enjoyable group of members there to discuss a variety of topics. 

January 25 **           Wine & Cheese Party (Sat) From 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Dick & Karla’s Mathews’ home at 1301 Waterford Drive in Golden Valley, MN.  See details on page 3.

 

February 5 **            Pint with the President  - (Wed)  Meet at 7:00 p.m. at Brit’s Pub at 1110 Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.  This is a change in venue for the monthly meeting this month only.  Come and enjoy an Ale with your Healey friends at an authentic British pub!   

February 22 **         Tech Session  -  (Sat)  Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Jeff & Carol Johnk’s home at 9505 Aspen Road in Lakeville, MN.  This will be an opportunity for the guys to see and hear about what Jeff has done to his vintage raced Healey.    Coffee and donuts will be served.

 

March 5 **                 Pie with the President  - (Wed)  Meet at 7:00 p.m. See previous notice.

March 22 **               Auto Body Shop Tech Session - (Sat) Meet at 9:00 a.m. at Precision Classics at 3708 Snelling Ave. in south Minneapolis.  Owner Lee Lawrence will go over the process of restoring a vintage English car.  He has had experience on all marques of British cars and can answer your questions.  Coffee & donuts will be served.

March 22                   Intermarque Go Kart Challenge –(Sat)  From 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the ProKart Indoors track in Blaine.  This is the third year for the Jaguar Club sponsored event.  Awards lunch will follow at Tasty Pizza. Call Peter Griffin at 612-922-3917 or pgrif888@aol.com.

April 26 **                  Spring Awakening  -  (Sat)  Depending on how Spring turns out this year, we will try to have a brunch or picnic with a short driving tour.  For info, call Barb Ronning 612-722-8397

May 12-15                 SpriteSpree 03  - (Mon-Thurs) To be held at The Harrisburg Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center in New Cumberland, PA.  This national Sprite event is held only once every five years. For more info, call Curt Carlson at 612-721-8667

May 17 **                   Impromptu  Drive  -  (Sat)  Details to be announced.

May 18                       Intermarque Banquet & Car Show – The Intermarque Council will again sponsor the Spring banquet.  It will take place at Sherlock’s Home in Minnetonka, MN.

 

June 4 **                     Pie with the President  - (Wed)  Meet at 7:00 p.m. See previous notice

June 5 - 8                  Rendezvous 2003  -  This will be the 13th year for the annual Lake Superior Vintage Sports Car Rendezvous.  Thunder Bay VSCC is the host for “Back to the Bay” this year. June 21 **                 Gymkhana   -  (Sat) Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the Brown & Bigelow parking lot at 345 Plato Blvd. St. Paul, MN.  The pylons will be set up, and you can test your driving skills.  For more info, call Steve Rixen at 715-386-2880 or email to steve@rixen.com
