Minnesota Wing of the Commemorative Air Force’s Spring Hangar Dance, Saturday, June 11.
The Wing’s 7 warbirds and four WWII vehicles, will be out on the ramp and the Roseville Swing Band will provide the live music. The hangar opens at 6 PM, the swing dancing lessons start at 7 PM, and the band starts playing at 8 PM. There will be food trucks and the Wing sells soft drinks, beer and wine. The band breaks at 10 PM and if our B-25 is in town, it will start its engines! A real crowd pleaser!
While dressing in period clothing is not required, prizes are given for civilian and military costumes. Even if you don’t dance, it’s a great people watching event. Tickets are $20 @ at the door, and $17.50 at our website: www.cafmn.org
The address is Fleming Field, 310 Airport Road, South St. Paul, Mn 55075. (If you GPS the address, be sure to use the right ZIP code. There’s a similar address at Holmen Field).
